The major routes in Memphis are I-240, I-40, and I-55. NSA Mid-South and Millington, TN, are northeast of Memphis.

To drive to base from the airport, take Plough Blvd. to I-240 West, then continue onto I-240 North for about 24 miles. Take TN-3 N / US-51 N to TN-205 S / Navy Road once in Millington. Navy Road will lead you to 3 gates on the southeast side of base: Willis, Harrison, or Bonney Gates.

Driving from elsewhere in the country, you'll want to make your way towards Memphis and one of the major routes mentioned above. From the east, use I-40 to the Paul Barrett Parkway, then follow Singleton Parkway which leads to the Singleton Gate on the base's south side.

Coming from the west, I-40 and I-55 will merge in West Memphis. Follow I-40/240 (Nashville) north to Exit 8A for Austin Peay/Jackson Ave. Continue on Austin Peay I-14 to Singleton Parkway until the Singleton Gate at base.

From the south, drive on I-55 until you can turn right for I-240 North (Nashville). Continue to the I-40 intersection and take I-40/240 (Little Rock) which is the north section of the Memphis beltway. Take Exit 10 for Covington Parkway North and continue onto Singleton Parkway, then Singleton Gate.
